Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Viewing Waterfall in the Pine Mountain by Tang Yun was auctioned at Bonhams in September this year. The price achieved of HKD 6,400.00 (€ 772.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Various Subjects in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,760,000.00 (€ 270,173.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Viewing Waterfall in the Pine Mountain von Tang Yun kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 6.400,00 (€ 772,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Various Subjects im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.760.000,00 (€ 270.173,15).
