Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Pavilion By The River by Tang Yun was sold in the Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors III auction at POLY in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 25,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 30,000.00 (€ 3,520.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Yun achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Various Subjects in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 2,760,000.00 (€ 270,173.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Pavilion By The River von Tang Yun wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings preserved by significant Hong Kong collectors III bei POLY versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 25.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 30.000,00 (€ 3.520,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Yun erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Various Subjects im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 2.760.000,00 (€ 270.173,15).
