In April 2015 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Contemporary Asian Art, which included the work Untitled (Set Of Two) by Tang Pinggang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 118,750.00 (€ 13,724.02), 70% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tang Pinggang; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Untilted sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of HKD 233,640.00 (€ 24,053.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 70 % übertroffen
Im April 2015 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Contemporary Asian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (Set Of Two) von Tang Pinggang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 13.724,02) und damit 70% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Tang Pinggang; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Untilted im Oktober 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 233.640,00 (€ 24.053,92).
