Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Park (Double-Sided) by Tang Pinggang was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2021. The price achieved of HKD 69,300.00 (€ 7,419.65) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tang Pinggang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untilted, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 233,640.00 (€ 24,053.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Park (Double-Sided) von Tang Pinggang kam im April 2021 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 69.300,00 (€ 7.419,65) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tang Pinggang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untilted beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 233.640,00 (€ 24.053,92) versteigert wurde.
