Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sans titre - circa 1983 by T'Ang Haywen was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction at Artcurial in December this year. The price achieved of EUR 1,181.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by T'Ang Haywen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 171,060.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sans titre - circa 1983 von T'Ang Haywen wurde im Dezember diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Artcurial versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.181,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von T'Ang Haywen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 171.060,62).
