Upper estimate price exceeded by 48 %.
In December this year Artcurial held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sans titre - 1955-60 by T'Ang Haywen. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,181.00 48% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by T'Ang Haywen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 1,480,000.00 (€ 171,060.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 48 % übertroffen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sans titre - 1955-60 von T'Ang Haywen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.181,00 und damit 48% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von T'Ang Haywen erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.480.000,00 (€ 171.060,62).
