Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sound Of Streams From The Mountains by Tang Di was sold in the Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 22,500.00 (€ 2,133.25) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Di achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Character in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,220,000.00 (€ 315,202.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sound Of Streams From The Mountains von Tang Di wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Classical Paintings and Calligraphy bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 22.500,00 (€ 2.133,25) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Di erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Character im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.220.000,00 (€ 315.202,00).
