The work Pine and Chrysanthemum by Tang Di was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 27,500.00 (€ 3,004.50), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Di achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Character in April 2013 with an auction result of HKD 3,220,000.00 (€ 315,202.00).

Die Arbeit Pine and Chrysanthemum von Tang Di kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 27.500,00 (€ 3.004,50) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Di erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Character im April 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 3.220.000,00 (€ 315.202,00).
