Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Landscape by Tang Dai was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II auction at POLY in Hong Kong in April 2017. The price achieved of HKD 47,200.00 (€ 5,571.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Dai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stream-Laced Mountain After Snow in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,741,000.00 (€ 2,138,732.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Landscape von Tang Dai wurde im April 2017 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II bei POLY in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.200,00 (€ 5.571,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Dai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stream-Laced Mountain After Snow im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.741.000,00 (€ 2.138.732,83).
