Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2013 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Landscape by Tang Dai. The price achieved of HKD 368,000.00 (€ 34,921.29) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 300,000.00 – 400,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tang Dai achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Stream-Laced Mountain After Snow in March 2013 with an auction result of USD 2,741,000.00 (€ 2,138,732.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2013 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Classical Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Tang Dai zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 368.000,00 (€ 34.921,29) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 300.000,00 – 400.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tang Dai erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Stream-Laced Mountain After Snow im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.741.000,00 (€ 2.138.732,83).
