Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Senza titolo by Tancredi was sold in the Contemporary Auction auction at Sothebys in Milan in April last year. It changed hands for a price of EUR 189,000.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 150,000.00 – 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tancredi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Omaggio a Debussy (Il cielo la terra e l’acqua), which sold at auction in October this year for EUR 730,800.00.
