Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 93G by Atsuko Tanaka was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2019. The price achieved of HKD 5,455,000.00 (€ 620,937.86) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 4,500,000.00 – 6,500,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Atsuko Tanaka - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Work, which sold at auction in April 2017 for HKD 12,700,000.00 (€ 1,499,054.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 93G von Atsuko Tanaka kam im April 2019 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 5.455.000,00 (€ 620.937,86) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 4.500.000,00 – 6.500.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Atsuko Tanaka mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Work beobachtet, die im April 2017 für HKD 12.700.000,00 (€ 1.499.054,61) versteigert wurde.
