Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Japan Sea – 1; Japan Sea – 6; & Japan Sea – 7 by Takesada Matsutani was sold in the No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online auction at Christies in New York in October this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 11,970.00 (€ 1,447.55) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Takesada Matsutani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Work 65-W in June this year with an auction result of GBP 214,200.00 (€ 249,291.92).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Japan Sea – 1; Japan Sea – 6; & Japan Sea – 7 von Takesada Matsutani wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion No Regrets: 20th/21st Century Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 11.970,00 (€ 1.447,55) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Takesada Matsutani erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Work 65-W im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 214.200,00 (€ 249.291,92).
