The result of CAD 6,000.00 (€ 4,308.01) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of CAD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Takao Tanabe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Foothills, Banff in May 2011 with an auction result of CAD 25,200.00 (€ 18,093.66).
