Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Land 40/75 by Takao Tanabe was sold in the Important Canadian Art auction at Sothebys in Toronto in November 2010. Here, the upper estimate of CAD 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for CAD 10,200.00 (€ 7,621.05). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Takao Tanabe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Foothills, Banff, which sold at auction in May 2011 for CAD 25,200.00 (€ 18,093.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Land 40/75 von Takao Tanabe wurde im November 2010 in der Auktion Important Canadian Art bei Sothebys in Toronto versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von CAD 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für CAD 10.200,00 (€ 7.621,05) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Takao Tanabe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Foothills, Banff beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für CAD 25.200,00 (€ 18.093,66) versteigert wurde.
