Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bilgah, From The Series Around Absheron by Tair Salakhov was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 150,000.00 (€ 176,136.67) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tair Salakhov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aidan, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 269,000.00 (€ 365,289.07).

Die Arbeit Bilgah, From The Series Around Absheron von Tair Salakhov kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 150.000,00 (€ 176.136,67) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tair Salakhov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aidan beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 269.000,00 (€ 365.289,07) versteigert wurde.
