Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still Life by Tair Salakhov was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. It changed hands for a price of GBP 87,500.00 (€ 102,746.39) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 70,000.00 – 90,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tair Salakhov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Aidan, which sold at auction in December 2015 for GBP 269,000.00 (€ 365,289.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still Life von Tair Salakhov wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 102.746,39) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 70.000,00 – 90.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tair Salakhov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Aidan beobachtet, die im Dezember 2015 für GBP 269.000,00 (€ 365.289,07) versteigert wurde.
