Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tahia Halim achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2012. In the Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm auction, the work The night before the wedding sold for SEK 250,000.00 (€ 29,074.70) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 100,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tahia Halim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Farhat Al Nuba (The Happiness of Nubia) in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 749,000.00 (€ 697,328.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tahia Halim erzielte im Oktober 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Autumn Sale, Stockholm wurde die Arbeit The night before the wedding für SEK 250.000,00 (€ 29.074,70) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 100.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tahia Halim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Farhat Al Nuba (The Happiness of Nubia) im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 749.000,00 (€ 697.328,00).
