In April 2012 Christies in Dubai held the auction Modern and Contemporary Arab, Iranian and Turkish Art Part II, which included the work Yellow Sun II (from the Rainbow of Death series) by Tagreed Darghouth. The »bidding war« ended at USD 32,500.00 (€ 24,567.24), 30% above the upper estimate. With this result, Yellow Sun II (from the Rainbow of Death series) is even the most expensive work of art by Tagreed Darghouth that we have observed at auctions so far.
