Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction Contemporary Art / Arab & Iranian, which included the work Untitled (From The Rainbow Of Death Series) by Tagreed Darghouth. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,233.19) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tagreed Darghouth - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Yellow Sun II (from the Rainbow of Death series), which sold at auction in April 2012 for USD 32,500.00 (€ 24,567.24).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Contemporary Art / Arab & Iranian durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (From The Rainbow Of Death Series) von Tagreed Darghouth zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.233,19) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tagreed Darghouth mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Yellow Sun II (from the Rainbow of Death series) beobachtet, die im April 2012 für USD 32.500,00 (€ 24.567,24) versteigert wurde.
