This artwork by Tadeusz Ajdukiewicz achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2017. In the 19th Century European Paintings auction, the work Polish a Turkish Courtyard sold for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,317.37) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tadeusz Ajdukiewicz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Road to Bizerte, Tunisia, which sold at auction in April 2007 for USD 150,000.00 (€ 109,809.66).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tadeusz Ajdukiewicz erzielte im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings wurde die Arbeit Polish a Turkish Courtyard für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.317,37) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tadeusz Ajdukiewicz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Road to Bizerte, Tunisia beobachtet, die im April 2007 für USD 150.000,00 (€ 109.809,66) versteigert wurde.
