Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Casa de Pilotos, Seville by Fernando Liger Hidalgo was sold in the 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in September 2006. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,593.23) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Fernando Liger Hidalgo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spanish Moorish Interior in March 2008 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,703.10).

Die Arbeit La Casa de Pilotos, Seville von Fernando Liger Hidalgo wurde im September 2006 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art Including Russian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.593,23) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
