Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Interior with Chimney by Szeto Lap was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2007. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 8,741.83) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Szeto Lap achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Silver Chateau in April 2015 with an auction result of HKD 1,062,500.00 (€ 122,793.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Interior with Chimney von Szeto Lap wurde im November 2007 in der Auktion Asian Contemporary Art bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 8.741,83) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Szeto Lap erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Silver Chateau im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.062.500,00 (€ 122.793,85).
