Artwork auctioned at four times the upper estimate price
The work Sans Titre by Sadequain was worth EUR 131,200.00 to a buyer in March last year. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art at Artcurial in Paris and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 30,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Sadequain; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Qalandar sold at auction in September 2015 with the realized price of USD 173,000.00 (€ 154,990.15).

Die Arbeit Sans Titre von Sadequain war einem Käufer im März letzten Jahres EUR 131.200,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Artcurial in Paris erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 30.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Sadequain; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Qalandar im September 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 173.000,00 (€ 154.990,15).
