This artwork by Sven Jonson achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work "No. 8". sold for SEK 420,000.00 (€ 40,163.83) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sven Jonson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Vit urna/No.8", which sold at auction in November 2020 for SEK 1,100,000.00 (€ 107,532.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sven Jonson erzielte im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wurde die Arbeit "No. 8". für SEK 420.000,00 (€ 40.163,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sven Jonson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Vit urna/No.8" beobachtet, die im November 2020 für SEK 1.100.000,00 (€ 107.532,64) versteigert wurde.
