Two volumes from a three-volume set ofchubon-size books, titled Ehon kokinran (Picture Book of Gold Brocades), illustrating the life of people through the seasons, vol.1 consisting of one page of preface, one single-page and nine double-page black-and-white illustrations; vol.3 consisting of one single-page and nine double-page black-and-white illustrations and one page of colophon indicating the artist Suzuki Harunobu, publishing date Horeki 13 (1763) and publishers Yamazaki Kinbei and Nishinomiya Shinroku, missing vol.2; with a chitsu cover. Covers: 22cm x 15.5cm (8 5/9in x 6 1/8in). (3).
