This artwork by Susan Ryder achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2006. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Interior With French Windows sold for GBP 3,360.00 (€ 4,814.27) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Susan Ryder; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Cupid Lamp sold at auction in August 2007 with the realized price of GBP 4,560.00 (€ 6,740.88).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Susan Ryder erzielte im März 2006 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art wurde die Arbeit Interior With French Windows für GBP 3.360,00 (€ 4.814,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Susan Ryder; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit The Cupid Lamp im August 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 4.560,00 (€ 6.740,88).
