Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Sothebys in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings, which included the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen by Sun Jing. It changed hands for a price of HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,852.68) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sun Jing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 21,877.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Sothebys in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen von Sun Jing zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.852,68) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sun Jing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 21.877,49) versteigert wurde.
