Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen by Sun Jing was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015. The price achieved of HKD 50,000.00 (€ 5,841.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sun Jing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 21,877.49).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen von Sun Jing wurde im Oktober 2015 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 50.000,00 (€ 5.841,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Sun Jing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 21.877,49) versteigert wurde.
