Sold at the upper estimate price
The work Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen by Sun Jing was sold in the Fine Chinese Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2015. The auction ended at the price of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 6,934.24), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Sun Jing - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen, which sold at auction in October 2014 for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 21,877.49).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen von Sun Jing wurde im April 2015 in der Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 6.934,24) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Sun Jing mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy Couplet In Jiaguwen beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 21.877,49) versteigert wurde.
