Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Sun Duoci could be acquired at Bonhams in September this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Chinese Paintings-The Online sale auction, the work Lion changed hands for HKD 12,800.00 (€ 1,544.37) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Sun Duoci have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Double Bliss(Painted In 1953) in October 2017 with an auction result of HKD 76,700.00 (€ 8,441.74).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Sun Duoci konnte im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Chinese Paintings-The Online sale wechselte die Arbeit Lion für HKD 12.800,00 (€ 1.544,37) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Sun Duoci auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Double Bliss(Painted In 1953) im Oktober 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 76.700,00 (€ 8.441,74).
