The work View of Assilah by Suad Al Attar was auctioned at Christies in Dubai in October 2010. The auction ended at the price of USD 35,000.00 (€ 25,190.73), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suad Al Attar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunset on Salam City, which sold at auction in May this year for GBP 70,250.00 (€ 81,736.34).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit View of Assilah von Suad Al Attar kam im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in Dubai zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 25.190,73) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Suad Al Attar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunset on Salam City beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für GBP 70.250,00 (€ 81.736,34) versteigert wurde.
