This artwork by Suad Al Attar achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in London in May this year. In the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art auction, the work Girl in Moonlight sold for GBP 8,960.00 (€ 10,425.02) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Suad Al Attar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunset on Salam City in May this year with an auction result of GBP 70,250.00 (€ 81,736.34).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Suad Al Attar erzielte im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art wurde die Arbeit Girl in Moonlight für GBP 8.960,00 (€ 10.425,02) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Suad Al Attar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunset on Salam City im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 70.250,00 (€ 81.736,34).
