Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untiled by Suad Al Attar was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections auction at Bonhams in London in November 2021. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,484.85). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Suad Al Attar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sunset on Salam City in May this year with an auction result of GBP 70,250.00 (€ 81,736.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untiled von Suad Al Attar wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Middle Eastern Art including Baghdadiyat Part IIIraqi Masterpieces from the Jawdat, Madhloom and Selim Collections bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.484,85) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Suad Al Attar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sunset on Salam City im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 70.250,00 (€ 81.736,34).
