Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Sun, Moon And Trees by Suad Al Attar was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in April 2008. The price achieved of USD 22,500.00 (€ 14,452.72) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by Suad Al Attar have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sunset on Salam City in May this year with an auction result of GBP 70,250.00 (€ 81,736.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Sun, Moon And Trees von Suad Al Attar wurde im April 2008 in der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 22.500,00 (€ 14.452,72) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 18.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Suad Al Attar auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sunset on Salam City im Mai diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 70.250,00 (€ 81.736,34).
