Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Garden of Eden by Suad Al Attar was sold in the International Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Dubai in October 2010. It changed hands for a price of USD 43,750.00 (€ 31,488.41) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Suad Al Attar - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sunset on Salam City, which sold at auction in May this year for GBP 70,250.00 (€ 81,736.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Garden of Eden von Suad Al Attar wurde im Oktober 2010 in der Auktion International Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Dubai versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 43.750,00 (€ 31.488,41) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 35.000,00 – 45.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Suad Al Attar mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Sunset on Salam City beobachtet, die im Mai diesen Jahres für GBP 70.250,00 (€ 81.736,34) versteigert wurde.
