Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Garden Gathering by Su Renshan for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,637.99). This price was achieved in the auction Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Su Renshan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 100,106.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Garden Gathering von Su Renshan für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.637,99) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Fine Classical Chinese Paintings & Calligraphy bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Su Renshan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Landscape im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 100.106,78).
