This artwork by Su Renshan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. In the Fine Chinese Modern Paintings auction, the work Figures sold for HKD 118,750.00 (€ 10,622.74) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Su Renshan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 112,500.00 (€ 100,106.78).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 98 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Su Renshan erzielte im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Fine Chinese Modern Paintings wurde die Arbeit Figures für HKD 118.750,00 (€ 10.622,74) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Su Renshan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 112.500,00 (€ 100.106,78).
