Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2017 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II, which included the work Seven-Character Couplet In Running Script by Su Manshu. The price achieved of HKD 7,080.00 (€ 779.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 6,000.00 – 10,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Su Manshu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Assemblage Of Landscapes in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 28,813,500.00 (€ 3,040,284.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2017 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Seven-Character Couplet In Running Script von Su Manshu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 7.080,00 (€ 779,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 6.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Su Manshu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Assemblage Of Landscapes im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 28.813.500,00 (€ 3.040.284,83).
