Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2015 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Delightful Pleasure-Chinese Painting and Calligraphy, which included the work Red Plum Blossom by Su Manshu. The price achieved of HKD 70,800.00 (€ 8,307.44) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Su Manshu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Assemblage Of Landscapes in April 2018 with an auction result of HKD 28,813,500.00 (€ 3,040,284.83).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2015 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Delightful Pleasure-Chinese Painting and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red Plum Blossom von Su Manshu zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 70.800,00 (€ 8.307,44) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Su Manshu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Assemblage Of Landscapes im April 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 28.813.500,00 (€ 3.040.284,83).
