Auction result misses estimated price range
In October this year a collector was able to acquire the work Sleeping Baby (NHS Blue), 2015 by Stik for GBP 19,200.00 (€ 22,046.93). This price was achieved in the auction POP X Culture at Bonhams and was even below the estimate range of GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Stik achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Holding Hands (Maquette) in October 2020 with an auction result of GBP 287,500.00 (€ 319,244.23).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Sleeping Baby (NHS Blue), 2015 von Stik für GBP 19.200,00 (€ 22.046,93) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion POP X Culture bei Bonhams erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Stik erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Holding Hands (Maquette) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 287.500,00 (€ 319.244,23).
