Artwork auctioned at 11 times the upper estimate price
This work without title by Stickymonger was worth HKD 882,000.00 (€ 110,055.48) to a buyer in July last year. This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Curated: Hong Kong at Sothebys in Hong Kong and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of HKD 80,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Stickymonger; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Strawberry Stalkers - Happy Together sold at auction in July last year with the realized price of HKD 1,638,000.00 (€ 204,388.75).

Die Arbeit ohne Titel von Stickymonger war einem Käufer im Juli letzten Jahres HKD 882.000,00 (€ 110.055,48) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Curated: Hong Kong bei Sothebys in Hong Kong erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 80.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Stickymonger; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Strawberry Stalkers - Happy Together im Juli letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von HKD 1.638.000,00 (€ 204.388,75).
