The work Insomnia by Stickymonger was sold in the INTERSECT: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in September last year. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 378,000.00 (€ 49,186.75), 26% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Stickymonger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Strawberry Stalkers - Happy Together in July last year with an auction result of HKD 1,638,000.00 (€ 204,388.75).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 26 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Insomnia von Stickymonger wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion INTERSECT: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 378.000,00 (€ 49.186,75) und damit 26% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Stickymonger auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Strawberry Stalkers - Happy Together im Juli letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.638.000,00 (€ 204.388,75).
