Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Triplets by Steven Arnold was sold in the The Male Form auction at Bonhams in June this year. The price achieved of EUR 2,560.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Steven Arnold - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Black Jesus, which sold at auction in April 2018 for USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,317.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Triplets von Steven Arnold wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion The Male Form bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.560,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Steven Arnold mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Black Jesus beobachtet, die im April 2018 für USD 11.250,00 (€ 9.317,54) versteigert wurde.
