Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Stephen Morgan Etnier could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Winter - Casco Bay changed hands for USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,545.63) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Admittedly, works by Stephen Morgan Etnier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work We Can See the Mountains in September 2006 with an auction result of USD 54,000.00 (€ 42,563.25).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Stephen Morgan Etnier konnte im September 2008 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden.
