Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2003 Christies in London held the auction Sporting Art, which included the work A fox with a dead cockerel in a landscape by Stephen Elmer. The price achieved of GBP 6,572.50 (€ 9,157.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Stephen Elmer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2006 the work Grey Partridge In A Extensive Landscape, With Hunters Beyond was auctioned for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,022.85).

Im Mai 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion Sporting Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A fox with a dead cockerel in a landscape von Stephen Elmer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.572,50 (€ 9.157,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden.
