In December 2007 Christies in London held the auction The Sunday Sale, which included the work A Covey Of Partridges In A Landscape by Stephen Elmer. The price achieved of GBP 6,250.00 (€ 8,492.69) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Stephen Elmer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2006 the work Grey Partridge In A Extensive Landscape, With Hunters Beyond was auctioned for GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,022.85).
