This artwork by Stephen Edlich achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2007. In the The House Sale auction, the work Chord Suite 193 "12" sold for USD 5,760.00 (€ 4,201.01) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stephen Edlich - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 84 Transports Jean Chatel, which sold at auction in July 2007 for USD 13,200.00 (€ 9,627.31).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Stephen Edlich erzielte im Juli 2007 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The House Sale wurde die Arbeit Chord Suite 193 "12" für USD 5.760,00 (€ 4.201,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Stephen Edlich mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 84 Transports Jean Chatel beobachtet, die im Juli 2007 für USD 13.200,00 (€ 9.627,31) versteigert wurde.
