Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Stephane Graff achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in March 2010. In the SEX Theme Sale auction, the work Chair Constriction sold for GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,525.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stephane Graff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Woman With The Girl With The Pearl, which sold at auction in October 2020 for GBP 31,500.00 (€ 34,978.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Stephane Graff erzielte im März 2010 bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion SEX Theme Sale wurde die Arbeit Chair Constriction für GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.525,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 4.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Stephane Graff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Woman With The Girl With The Pearl beobachtet, die im Oktober 2020 für GBP 31.500,00 (€ 34.978,06) versteigert wurde.
