Auction result well in line with expectations
The work On the seashore by Stepan Kolesnikoff was sold in the Russian Art auction at Christies in London in November 2016. The price achieved of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 47,196.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Stepan Kolesnikoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Festival, which sold at auction in June 2018 for GBP 137,500.00 (€ 155,398.43).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit On the seashore von Stepan Kolesnikoff wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Russian Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 47.196,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Stepan Kolesnikoff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Festival beobachtet, die im Juni 2018 für GBP 137.500,00 (€ 155.398,43) versteigert wurde.
